Do u ever just want to auth out in the back of a Honda Element/Nissan Cube and ride around the country in an auth buzzband?

I know what ur thinking. A ‘chill looking’ BB and an AZN bro come together 2 make a buzzband. Sounds like the Best Coast formula. But as u know, Best Coast, aka Befernee Cosentino started out as a vibey fuzzybuzzy band. However, the band took a turn for the worst, trying to go scalable-indie-stream, popping out generic ass ‘beach ballads’ made for weak ass Rookie Mag readers who wouldn’t know auth if it was bundled with record players at UrbieOutties.

But enough about Best Coast sucking/being the exact opposite of auth.

Sorta vibing to SALES. They seem pretty auth. I think they are sorta like some ‘chill girl’ and ‘chill azn bro’ who play post-folk drum machine-wave vibes. Post-xx simple waves with a folk_chill girl voice. U could probably put it on a playlist for some wannabe-auth girl (who is still Urban Outfitters-wave alt/indie).

I guess they are from Orlando, FL, which seems pretty auth. I don’t think there is a ‘Brooklyn Music scene’ any more, so the auth movement is just chilling everywhere. Really gotta piece together the global auth movement, one artist at a time.

I watched some random black bro interview them. I don’t think it was very compelling content, but their web trail really isn’t ‘that deep’ / Public-relations-driven wave yet where they are like ‘filmed’ being ‘it girl of the month’ 4 NylonFader Maggyzine yet.
