Has PC Music lost itz way?

I was checking out the latest PC Music soundcloud, and couldn’t help but notice that there was an AG Cook remix of Charli XCX ft Rita Ora. If I wanted 2 hear Charli XCX and/or Rita Ora, I would just listen 2 some Iggy Azalea song.

This remix does nothing 4 me, really. Doesn’t ‘vibe’ anywhere, doesn’t get my peen hard or my vagine wet (metaphorically).

In a previous post, I wondered, “How scalable is PC Music?” This remix (and itz 300k+ streams) makes it clear that PC Music might just be a new ‘hip sound aesthetic’ that is being applied 2 popular artists. Some days, PC Music feels like this thing that only a few ppl truly ‘get’, but then it also seems like it might just be ‘so different’ in an easy-to-marginalize, package, and sell kinda way that alt-streamers might ‘get 2 in2 it.’

I sorta miss the days b4 Charli XCX ‘went mnstrm’ and was just another failed female pre-pop star who had 2 marginalize her mssg and ‘play up her sexualitie’ in order to scale. She used to chill out on Gorilla Vs. Bear, then she wrote the hit song ‘I dont care yall… I love it’ and then “Boom Clapping,” which was the score 2 some movie abt some tween dying of cancer but still feeling entitled to tween fantasies like ‘love’ and ‘handjobs.’

U gotta give her props 4 the titties, though. God truly must have spent a lil more time on that rack so that it could BOOM and CLAP in all the right ways.

Worried abt PC Music. Feels like they are gonna get so much ‘mainstream buzz’ at the manufactured-ass SXSW buzz machine. The place where level_1 influencers ‘who believe they actually influence’ but really only influence losers who ‘follow them on twitter’ and they are just sorta trying to stay ‘young forever’ by pretending that they ‘get’ youth culture trends. I mean, I feel like I 100% ‘get’ PC Music, just having a hard time deciding how ‘on board’ I am.

Is PC Music auth?
Is PC Music just ‘too scalable’ [via being a new paradigm of dance music]?
Is PC Music ‘officially’ post-EDM?
Or is it a subsect of EDM?
Is there such thing as auth dance music?
Who is actually ‘the most auth’ PC Music affiliated act?
Has AG Cook lost his way?

Is AG Cook a chill bro? Or is he ‘effing blowing it’ / making ‘mad bank’?

Would u rather just hang out with Hannah Diamond? Or still more of a Sophie guy?

Are all aesthetics influenced / biased via created in reaction to ‘rebel’ against a current aesthetic?
