I h8 when indie celebs ‘go solo’ and make high-produced Talking-HEads-wannabe art. Like I get’ why it is probably difficult 2 make, but at the same time, just not very in2 it… Seems ‘try hard’, which is why I prefer the chilled out approachable vibes of auth music. Not scalable, not dependent on indie content farm coverage. Not going to be purchased by indie dads who ‘think they are cool.’

Listen, I ‘get’ that auth might just be historical/cultural relativity, and there was a day when a pre-indie pre-Funeral era Arcade Fire.
