I’m so ‘over’ how ‘corporate’ music festivals are
It just feels like there are too many sponsored / lamestream vibes
meant to ‘scale‘ in2 inauthentic audiences
I’m so ‘over’ how ‘corporate’ Tough Mudder is
I’m so ‘over’ how ‘corporate’ the Color Run is.

I sort of just want to vibe out [via organic free-range vibes]

Maybe I’ll just run in the Insane Inflatable 5k
I can ‘have fun’ and ‘burn calories’ with my
empty-wave hollow friends and meaningless sadboi/thot co-workers
It seems like maybe this is the road 2 authenticity

I just want to value the ‘journey’ [via 5k of bouncing pathways]
and not overvalue the destination
bc at the end of the vibes, I will just be back on stable ground.

put in my ‘earbuds’ and the ultimate auth playlist

I hope there aren’t too many mainstream Bud Light tallboy EDM festival bros
and Tough Mudderers there
They really harsh the vibes with all of their pre-workout

Do u need to consume pre-workout / mad whey protein to ‘make it thru’ this intense auth experience?

Or should they do mad weight training?

A song that has organic vibes that makes you feel… feel something… again?

I was vibing out to the auth tune “Feel Again” by Nic Hessler. Seems pretty pure. Of course, it does sound a bit ‘new wave indie,’ but in 2 months, it has less than 5k streams, so I guess the indie blogosphere didn’t really scale the sound, despite being ‘supported’ by auth record label Captured Tracks. But I guess they actually help artists 2 succeed in a medium-to-long term kind of way.

I am always interested in individual singer-songwriter bros. Is it better for them to create a ‘band’ or do they just build a ‘personal brand’ so that they can be seen as ‘a genius’? Does it only work if you have a chill/interesting name?

Remember the time Christopher Owens left GIRLS and his solo album tanked?

Can Captured Tracks enable Nic Hessler to build a ‘Mac-Demarco-like brand’ that ‘resonates with ‘the youth’? I guess his debut album comes out March 17, so hopefully it can match Wild Nothing / Craft Spells / Beach Fossils levels of authness.

This song is pretty chyll too.
