Should I feel ashamed 4 enjoying something blatantly scalable?

I find so much comfort in auth not being scalable, rationalizing my place in a microcommunity. However, it is difficult to escape the pressures/norms of mass culture. Sometimes I find myself ‘tapping my foot’ to something that may or may not be perfectly engineered 2 scale into contemporary markets.

In the video for Major Lazer / DJ Snake ft MØ, we are ‘taken 2 India’ and shown a part of the world that my Eurocentric cultural identity has never seen b4. I think this is what Diplo does, just finds ‘uncovered’ parts of the world, and ‘steals’ their sounds/bastardizes them 4 EDM purposes.

Maybe in a way, I should just focus, and fire a gun, because I just need some1 2 lean on [via dance moves]

Does MØ = Tove Lo = Lorde = Ellie Goulding [via ‘unique’ broads whose voices are just meant 4 the masses as ‘alt rock’ is redefined for ‘next generations’]?

I just want to feel ‘cultured’ by knowing there is ‘more world out there’. I want to ‘learn’ about ‘the Third World’. I want to hear their music, consume their movies [via Wes Anderson’s Bollywood tribute that ‘went over my head’]

Is Indian food any good? It feels too ‘stew’-based for me, personally. I also hate Modern American cuisine, so I am not being racist/discriminatory.
